How an article is produced
Depending on the assignment, the workflow can include:
- selecting the reader question and defining what the article must establish;
- researching primary sources such as official documentation, pricing, release notes and regulatory material;
- using AI tools to assist with research organization or drafting;
- checking material claims against their cited sources;
- conducting an independent editorial review;
- recording limitations and distinguishing vendor claims from BenPicks analysis;
- approving the finished article before publication.
AI assistance is not presented as personal product experience. When BenPicks has not completed a hands-on test, the article should say so and must not report invented observations, measurements or results.
What the byline means
