Our evidence states
- Verified
- Independently confirmed or mechanically reproduced. A vendor page alone does not earn this label.
- Vendor claim
- A precise, current claim attributed to a primary vendor source, but not independently reproduced.
- Unknown
- The retained public evidence cannot answer the question safely.
- Not applicable
- Evidence shows that the field falls outside the documented product shape.
- Conflicted
- Credible retained sources materially disagree.
- Stale
- The evidence has exceeded its review window or has been superseded.
Adding more vendor links does not turn a vendor claim into an independently verified fact. Unknowns remain visible rather than being filled for completeness.
What we examine
Research can include official documentation, pricing, support material, terms, policy pages, release notes and direct product access where available. Material claims should link to the strongest current source. Pricing, limits, rights and regional availability are checked as time-sensitive facts.
What “hands-on” means here
We do not describe a page as hands-on tested unless that work was completed and can be documented. A reproducible test records the input, settings, plan, date, output and evaluation criteria. Vendor demonstrations and marketing samples are vendor evidence, not BenPicks testing.
