Price, plan and risks
Unknown, conflicted and stale facts stay visible before checkout.
Users retain rights in submitted content and must hold permissions. Complete clearance for third-party assets, voices/interfaces and every generated output is not established.
Output/translation quality, editing effort, invoice currency and buyer-specific contract terms were not tested or confirmed.

View evidence profile →Trupeer is a candidate when a screen recording needs to become both a tutorial video and written documentation. That can be a useful handoff for a team maintaining a help center or an internal process library. The purchase should turn on the work of updating and approving those outputs, not just the speed of the first draft.
Its current pricing separates video, document and translation consumption. A minute of source footage is not a complete credit estimate. The public Monthly setting displayed Pro at $49 with 2,000 credits and Scale at $249 with 10,000 credits on 17 October 2026. Dollar amounts below use the page's displayed denomination; confirm invoice currency, tax and the selected commitment before paying.
> Distinctive strength: One recording can support video and written guides. > > Where it stops being an advantage: Languages and revisions add separate credit use.
This profile is based on public evidence and reproducible hypothetical calculations. BenPicks did not upload a recording, generate a tutorial or validate voiceover/translation quality.
| Required result | Buying question |
|---|---|
| One person's short tutorial videos | Do the recording length, monthly credits and export formats fit? |
| Video plus written instructions | Budget the document meter as well as video minutes. |
| Two additional languages | Check both translation entitlement and per-language consumption. |
| Multiple content owners | Verify creator seats, transfers and approval/version controls. |
| Sensitive internal documentation | Resolve access, redaction, retention and processing requirements first. |
The public pages describe screen recording/video upload, generated narration, editing and documentation output. Do not assume that translation, version history, a custom domain and an approval workflow are all included in an individual subscription simply because they appear somewhere on the feature page.
| Plan | Monthly-setting observation | Important boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Free for 10 days | 1,000-credit allowance displayed; recordings up to five minutes, public-sharing/free-output restrictions. |
| Pro | $49/month; 2,000 credits | One creator, recordings up to ten minutes, listed watermark-free video/document exports. |
| Scale | $249/month; 10,000 credits | Three creators, recordings up to 15 minutes, translation and team/brand features. |
| Enterprise | Custom annual contract | Custom credits/seats and additional organizational controls. |
The Free card is a time-limited offer. This profile does not describe it as an unlimited-duration production plan. The page also offers Yearly billing; monthly observations above are not the lower annual-equivalent figures that can appear in static HTML.
Trupeer's terms ↗ describe automatic renewal and generally non-refundable subscription fees except where law requires otherwise. They also specify named individual accounts and limits on seat rotation. Confirm those rules if staff changes or contractor handoffs are part of the operating plan. Canceling renewal is not the same as obtaining a refund.
The pricing FAQ ↗ states these consumption rules:
| Operation | Advertised consumption |
|---|---|
| AI video | 100 credits per minute |
| AI document | 50 credits per document |
| Translation | 100 credits per minute per target language |
| Adding an AI avatar | A further 50 credits per minute |
| Re-exporting already generated output | No additional generation credits stated |
Credits reset monthly and unused allowance does not roll over. The FAQ says generation pauses when the pool runs out and paid plans can buy additional credits at $4 per 100. Confirm how an edit, regeneration, document revision and translated written output are metered before relying on a marginal calculation. An export is not the same operation as generating revised content.
Assume 20 recordings of three minutes, one generated video and one generated document for each, and two additional language versions of all video minutes. The 20 recordings each fit within the published ten-/15-minute recording limits; total library length is a separate quantity.
| Work | Calculation | Credits |
|---|---|---|
| Original video | 20 × 3 × 100 | 6,000 |
| Twenty original documents | 20 × 50 | 1,000 |
| Original-output basket | 6,000 + 1,000 | 7,000 |
| Two additional video languages | 20 × 3 × 2 × 100 | 12,000 |
| Modeled total | 7,000 + 12,000 | 19,000 |
On the observed Scale allowance, 19,000 minus 10,000 leaves 9,000 additional credits. At the advertised top-up rate, that is 90 × $4 = $360, making $609 with the observed $249 monthly subscription, before tax and any unmodeled work. This is a planning result in the page's dollar units, not a paid invoice or recommended purchase.
The estimate assumes the quoted video-translation meter covers those two extra video-language versions. It excludes translated-document generation, retries, avatars, knowledge-base add-ons and staff review. Price those separately if required. Scale's language entitlement and available credits are separate checks; buying credits does not establish a new feature entitlement.
The original-only 7,000-credit basket also illustrates a boundary: Pro would need 5,000 extra credits, modeled at $200, plus $49 = $249. That numerical equality with the Scale headline does not make the plans interchangeable. They differ in creators, recording length and feature access, and the arithmetic depends on the advertised top-up rules remaining applicable.
Get the downloadable worksheet to reproduce or replace these assumptions. The existing AI video cost guide explains the wider model; its calculator was not modified to contain a Trupeer tariff.
For a buyer's authorized internal evaluation, choose a short process with a deliberately changed step in a permitted demonstration environment. Produce the formats you actually need, then ask a second operator to revise the instruction and inspect the exported/shared result.
Check a proper noun, a technical term, a number and a warning. For translation, arrange review by someone competent in the target language; the existence of a generated track does not establish accuracy. Record revision work and actual credit deductions rather than inferring them from output duration.
Before committing to a library, establish where editable projects live, who owns them, what a handoff permits and which version-history/approval features require Enterprise. A downloaded MP4 can preserve a finished video without preserving the ability to edit its original steps.
No product performance was measured here. Review the applicable contract and obtain any permission needed before conducting or publishing comparative performance work.
Use fabricated demonstration data rather than recording a live customer record by default. Check notifications, tabs, credentials and people visible in the recording. Automatic blur is a plan-specific feature, not a substitute for controlling the capture.
The privacy policy ↗ describes user-generated recordings and documents as processed for the intended service, with other uses requiring consent. It describes primarily US infrastructure and some EU processing possibilities, not an unconditional EU-only guarantee. Obtain the relevant DPA, transfer/retention details and sharing configuration for the exact proposed workload.
The terms say users retain rights in submitted content and remain responsible for permissions. This profile does not establish comprehensive clearance for third-party interfaces, recorded voices, music or every AI-generated output. Check the intended commercial use and client requirements before delivery. No legal or security certification is made by BenPicks.
Guidde is the closest new profile for the same tutorial/documentation job; its creator-seat pricing gives a useful comparison with this credit basket. Descript is relevant for broader recording/editing work, while Synthesia fits a presenter-led training evaluation. Compare the final deliverables and update work, not merely advertised minutes.
Use the commercial-use and provenance guide to retain source permissions and output records. No new comparison page or affiliate relationship is implied.
Trupeer belongs on the shortlist if related video and written instructions are recurring deliverables and the credit model can be reconciled to them. Exclude it when an essential export, sharing boundary, language review or handoff cannot be established under the actual offer.
Checked 17 October 2026: pricing and credit FAQ ↗, documentation product ↗, translation product ↗, terms ↗, and privacy ↗. The Monthly selector was actually used. Quoted allowances are vendor statements; all workload figures are modeled. The exact invoice currency and buyer-specific terms need confirmation. A public affiliate program exists, but BenPicks approval is unconfirmed and no affiliate identifier was activated.
