Creatify vs Topview: Which AI Ad System Produces Better Tests?
A practical, evidence-led decision guide. Product capabilities and limits are separated from anything that would require hands-on testing.
Creatify and Topview both promise to turn a product page or campaign brief into finished ads, actors and variations. Creatify is more explicitly organised around advertising production and API operations. Topview offers a wider agentic canvas that can select models, plan scenes and remix reference structures. The decisive question is not which exports more files. It is which creates more compliant, meaningfully distinct experiments.
Compare a fixed production basket
Creatify Starter is listed at $39 monthly with 100 credits; Pro is $99 with 300. Its API is separate: $99 for 500 credits or $299 for 2,000. URL-to-Video uses five API credits per thirty seconds, while the much heavier Ad Clone route consumes twelve per five seconds.
Topview's reviewed pricing lists Pro at $29 monthly on annual billing with 960 annual credits, Business at $75 with 3,000 annual credits and Ultra at $150 with 500 monthly-expiring credits. It also offers lower-priority unlimited generation for selected models. Its usage guide lists five credits for a standard fifteen-second Viral Video Agent result and 7.5 for high quality.
These units cannot be compared as “credits.” Ask each product for six thirty-second ads from the same source material and record actual debit, model path, queue time and revisions.
Creatify is the clearer advertising production line
Creatify connects product ingestion, scripts, AI actors, templates, variation and optional media/insight workflows. Its API documentation publishes operation-specific rates, making programmatic budgeting possible. This is the stronger fit when a team already knows its creative strategy and wants repeatable production.
The risk is automation without experimental discipline. Six outputs that vary actor, hook, proof, offer, pacing and CTA cannot explain which element drove performance. Configure the system to change one hypothesis per pair.
Topview is the broader creative exploration environment
Topview can start from a prompt, script, product URL or reference and keep shots editable in Canvas. Its attraction is planning and multi-model exploration, especially when the team does not yet have a finished structure.
The wider input surface raises a data-rights gate. Topview's terms say customer content and output may be used to improve models unless the user opts out. They also contain a general personal/non-commercial viewing licence alongside paid creator plans. Obtain written commercial-output confirmation and complete the opt-out before uploading unreleased products or proprietary references.
Run a two-stage ad test
Stage one is editorial acceptance. Reviewers check factual accuracy, product geometry, actor/voice rights, synthetic disclosure, captions, brand and distinct hypothesis. No media is purchased for failed outputs.
Stage two is a controlled media test with the same audience, landing page, budget and attribution window. Predefine a pass threshold—qualified click, completed view, lead or purchase—and stop variants that cannot be interpreted cleanly.
`publishable-variant cost = platform + credits + correction labour ÷ accepted distinct variants`
`validated-winner cost = all production and media spend ÷ variants beating the threshold`
Use both. The first measures production; the second measures business value.
Choose the experiment engine
Choose Creatify when the organisation needs a transparent, repeatable ad-production/API line and can impose its own test design. Choose Topview when a flexible agentic canvas creates better early creative directions and the buyer closes the licensing and data-use gates. Neither wins because it generates “viral” content; the winner is the one producing more interpretable, compliant paid tests per euro.
